The Center for Teacher Education works closely with departments for teacher training at the College of Education to cultivate high-quality teachers who meet the demands of the teaching field. Through education, we aim to contribute to the rejuvenation of the country and promote education for the prosperity of the nation, achieving the talent cultivation goals for K-12 in the new era.

The College of Education adopts "Interdisciplinary," "Common good," "Innovation," and "Excellence" as its development vision. Based on encouraging local engagement and pursuing global visions, it drafts five development goals, including refining K-12 teacher training, researching learning sciences and education excellence, building college teaching models, innovating education development, and practicing educational service and social responsibility.

The Center for Teacher Education has goals that align with the school's mission and the national education talent development. The core philosophy is cultivating future trend-setting teachers. The curriculum integrates the Tsing Hua interdisciplinary STEAM education, promotes bilingual teacher training with an international perspective, and promotes moral and ethical improvement such as the Schweitzer Plan. The center adopts forward-looking educational philosophies such as Waldorf Experimental Education and Multiple Innovative Education, cultivating teachers and students with quality-oriented learning abilities and flexibility of thought. Research-driven teaching, research-based critiques and feedback, and teaching decisions resting on solid foundations are integral to achieving these goals. The ultimate aspiration is for the trained teachers and students to possess not only professional excellence, technological innovation, humanistic practice, and forward-looking research skills but also to become model leaders with cross-domain abilities, leadership, and altruism.

However, recognizing that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, the concrete transformation and implementation of these educational goals will follow the guidelines of the Evaluation of Teacher Education. This involves a cyclical process of evaluation, planning, practical actions, reflection, and innovation, all directed towards improving the quality and standards of teaching and research while cultivating outstanding K-12 teachers. It also serves to nourish top talents in learning science and education research as well as important contributors to education and social responsibility.
